Key 18: Commune… Abide… Dwell…

Set a chair in front of you, for Him.  Sit down in your chair.  Hold out your hands… and let Him hold yours.

This is the prayer of saints.  To be with Him freely forgiven, freely made righteous, free from sin, free from condemnation.

When you pray to the Father, you are in communion with him and his Son Jesus Christ. Then you know and recognize him with an ever new sense of wonder… You give him thanks… for the indwelling of his Presence in you. (CCC 2781)

Prayer… proceeds from love… [in] conformity with the Father’s plan of love; the same transforming union in the Holy Spirit who conforms us more and more to Christ Jesus…. ‘Whatever you ask the Father in my name he will give it to you…’. (CCC 2745)
